School Programs

School Musicals

School Musicals are within reach with Dandylyon Drama’s School Musical Program. A Dandylyon Drama director, musical director, and choreographer will help kids explore the fun and excitement that goes hand-in-hand with creating live theatre.

Students will find the perfect role to build on their strengths and help them grow in confidence.  We place emphasis on making sure every student shines on stage. They will either be featured in acting, dancing, or singing and will all have valuable stage time.

We provide the Creative Team and organization you need to mobilize your parent volunteers. Rehearsals happen after school or during an elective period with special rehearsals being held for auditions and dress rehearsals. We make the whole process affordable for your PTA or school budget, and we have many resources for grants, fundraising, and ideas for how to cover the schools costs.

Jr. Musical

As a companion program for School Musicals, we offer the Jr. Musical Program for students too young to participate in a full musical.

After School Clubs

We offer a variety of performing arts after school clubs. With 4 unique programs, each with an emphasis on acting, singing or dancing, and an array of engaging themes, we will work with your school to create the perfect after school club for your students.

Storyteller Drama | Preschool & Kindergarten

Students have fun playing drama games, singing songs, and learning how to tell a story through acting. We choose our favorite activities from class and weave them into a sharing piece which may be performed in a final showcase performance. This introduces the element of performing in an age appropriate and fun way that teaches kids how to draw others into their imaginative play.

Playmaker Drama | Kindergarten & Up

In this play creation club we will collaborate to create an original play based on the sessions theme and our imaginations. Young actors will learn about story structure while working as a team to create our origins story. We play fun games to learn acting skills as we prepare to share our original story in costume on our final day of class.

Broadway Performers | Kindergarten & Up

Sing, dance and act through this exciting musical theatre class. Actors will learn songs and dances to musical numbers as well as learning acting skills through the exploration of the musical’s characters. We play fun games to teach acting skills and end with a performance in costume!

Dandylyon Dance | Kindergarten & Up

Learn dance basics and get moving! Students can get to know a variety of dance styles while enjoying toe tapping tunes. We will play fun dance games, learn basic techniques, terminology and performance skills.
